Siemens Croatia donated SOS Children's Village Lekenik

On the occasion of International Children's Day Siemens Croatia donated SOS Children's Village Lekenik.

CEO of Siemens Croatia Mladen Fogec presented the donation to SOS Children's Village Director Lekenik Mario Covic, during which he said: "This donation is part of Siemens application of socially responsible behavior Siemens Caring Hands. Under this program, among other things, to children and young people provide financial assistance and support their education. Our wish is to contribute to this donation, SOS Children's Village Lekenik having the care of hundreds of children without parents and parental care. Young generations are our future, and concern for their development is the task of each one of us. "

Together with representatives of Siemens children also visited the famous ice hockey Medveščak from Zagreb , Luka Ulaga, Janko Šupih i Marko Lovrenčić, the club that also supports Siemens Croatia. Ice hockey players with children from the village played a match metlomet, a version of hockey in the gym where the game instead of sticks has a broom . Metlomet, in fact, is designed  in the SOS Children's Village Lekenik.

 Director of SOS Children's Village Lekenik Mario Cović said: "We are pleased that the Siemens Croatia joined the donors SOS children's villages, which allow high-quality care for our children. This will help us to cover one SOS family in our village to its annual operating costs, thanks Siemens Croatia what is possible.
